Hollis Co, #Last90Days Challenge

Today is my 21st day in the #Last90Days Challenge and this third week has felt like I’ve switched on auto pilot. Get up early, workout 30 mins, practice gratitude, drink water and give up a food category. Has it been hard? Surprisingly not that hard. Have I messed up? Strangely no. Do I believe that this is sustainable? Ah, interesting question. I think the key to that answer lies in the shift to being intentional.

What does it mean to be intentional? It means you are purposeful in word and action. It means you live a life that is meaningful and fulfilling to you. It means you make thoughtful choices in your life. Being intentional means you actively interact and engage with your life.

This quote from Chrysta Bairre, of the site Live and Love Work, outlines intention really clearly for me. Be purposeful in your actions. Her post goes on to outline ways to be intentional including; knowing yourself, embracing imperfection and stop worrying about others.

My takeaway from this; when I think thoughtfully about what I’m doing and why, I am creating a lifestyle built on a solid foundation. That’s how I’ll make it stick.
