The Sound of Music is certainly in my list of a few of my favorite things. In fact it, along with the Wizard of Oz, is a favorite movie. The characters are sweet and charming. The music is catchy and heart warming and one of the top songs, ‘My Favorite Things’, I learned by heart at an early age. Let’s just say, I watched the movie so many times I could say all the words and sing all the songs. When the magic of VHS came along, yes I’m that old, my family gave it to me as a gift with a note attached that read ‘we hope you enjoy this and we never want to watch this movie again!’
