Hi! I’m Kristina Brummer.

I believe that the written word is one of the most powerful ways we can share our stories, ideas, and expertise—and that publishing doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or out of reach.

My path into publishing wasn’t a straight line. For years, I supported entrepreneurs and visionaries with their big ideas, and again and again I saw how often their stories stayed tucked away—waiting for “someday.” 

Middle Press Books was born from the belief that those stories deserve to be in the world, not gathering dust in a notebook or a hard drive.

This work has been built slowly and intentionally, step by step. It’s not about rushing or forcing; it’s about creating a process that feels clear, steady, and supportive. The best part of what I do is seeing someone hold their finished product in their hands. That moment their voice moves from private to published, ready to connect with readers.

At Middle Press Books, I walk alongside you through the publishing journey. My role is to simplify the process, steady the overwhelm, and make sure your vision comes to life.

  • What exactly is an MAB book?

    An MAB book is a collaborative anthology where a group of authors each contribute a chapter around a shared theme. It’s a way to become a published author without having to write a full-length book on your own.

  • How much writing is involved?

    Each author contributes one chapter (typically 1,500–2,000 words). We’ll provide guidance, prompts, and editorial support so you don’t feel like you’re writing alone.

  • What’s the biggest benefit of joining?

    Visibility, credibility, and connection. You’ll have a published book to your name, you’ll connect with other like-minded authors, and you’ll open the door to new opportunities — speaking, clients, collaborations, and more.

  • How long does the process take?

    From the time of sign-up to launch, most anthologies take about 3-6 months. This gives space for writing, editing, design, and marketing.
